Costa Calma

The 25km of coastline that makes up the Costa Calma is less commercialised than Caleta de Fuste and has some of the best beaches in the Canaries.

Playa de Sottovento de Jandia is the name which covers the series of amazing white sand beaches that go on and on for miles. Due to this great expanse of beach, you should be able to find a secluded spot along the coast. There are also some nudism areas.

Morro Jable is the main resort in the south of the island and perhaps a bit smarter than its rival in the north Corralejo. You will find all the main sports and watersports especially diving and windsurfing along this stretch of coastline and there is a market every Thursday near Avenida del Salador until 13:30h. Entertainment, along with shops, bars and restaurants, can be found along the beachfront and Avenida del Saladar.
